Flipbook records desktop

So, I use multiple desktops with Houdini running on one maybe two of them.

Often I set houdini to do something, that's going to take a bit of time, and I go to another desktop to do something else.

With the flipbook, I can't do that, since it records the activity of the current desktop. Is there any way to stop that?

Nope, the good thing about the Flipbook is it's fast, the bad thing is it requires you to stop working

One thing i've found works OK is to use dual monitors, keep Houdini on one and on the other have the other things you want to do. Then you can flipbook and work on the 2nd monitor.

The only alternative is to render with the OpenGL ROP but that is much slower and also doesn't give you the same viewport look

Cheers,
