Feather Vellum Sim to Vertex Animation Texture for Three Js

Hi there!

I have a feather which is simulated in vellum. So the individual feather hairs are floating in the wind. I want to load this animated loop on to a webpage using three js. I was thinking to use glTF but the files got way to big because of the vertex animations...
So now im hoping to be able to do this with the Vertex Animation Texture Approach but never used it and kind of stuck with the custom render settings. Anyone could share some experience or help me to get started ? Would help me a lot.

hello
1.you can use bake feather on low poly surface
2.deform points(point deform node) from frame 1 of hi poly to low poly.

Hi Sajadalavi,

Thanks for pointing me in this direction. As the feather has 1000`s of individual hairs im not getting away with it.
I think theres no other way to use VAT for this special case. Anyway thanks for the tip might consider this for future projects
