Hi everyone,
Due
I a new rookie in the world of Houdini, and slowly learning my way through this immense tool.
I have a question, that I hope I can get some guidance on.
Created a scene, where it uses vdbs to create a fake fluid effect of an object rising from a floor.
I wanted to know if there is a way I can somehow texture the object differently to the floor. Due to using vdbs, I know this would be difficult. So Im hoping another solution could be, to create some sort of mask that I can use during texturing.
Whether the mask can be created by attributes for the vdb, where it can pick up temperature of the rising object. I can then use this attribute to create a black and white mask in redshift.
I have attached the scene file, which does not contain the 3d file that rises from the floor. But there is a screengrab of what it looks like. Would love to hear any advice on how to go about it.
Thank you,
Redan
