USD:Instancing animating objects with different time offsets

Hi

I would like to instance animated objects on a grid with the stage instance. I would like to say which frame of the animation I will use per grid point.
How shall I proceed?
I am thinking to create as many variants as frames, is there any other way?

However still Its pretty hard for me to make it reliable, esspecialy with a lot of uniques offsets

The short answer (covered in the linked video) is to use the Retime Instances LOP, which takes one point instancer prototype, and turns it into a whole set of prototypes with different time offsets (referencing the original prototype).
