on OCIO editor I am using Render working space: ACEScg
and in the View transform: ACES 1.0 SDR video

I'm using Solaris also and with this setup I like the results in the viewport
but when I tried to export the image as .png file
it did not look exactly like in the viewport
the render to desk does not work for me
I have tried to change the tone map in image filters and the closest option was to chose
Hable 2

the other way I found is to render the image to Mplay then save frame as
then in the color space I used the Bake option and finally the result was the same
but the problem now is I can't use the render to disk in background any more specially when rendering frame range
to get ACES 1.0 SDR view transform result.
so is there a way to to use render to disk and save the image correctly with that bake option without using Mplay?
thanks.

Bumping this because I have the same question. It is not clear to me A. What color space Aces 1.0 SDR actually is and B. how to apply the correction to output files from render to disk.

Use the OIIOTool TOP or a command line script to call oiiotool or another utility that uses OCIO to apply colorspace transforms. If you have houdini 20 you can also apply the displayview transform in a VOPCOP2 filter.
