Full Body IK solve flipping on one frame - please help

Hi,

I am using a full body ik solver to map an animation from Mixamo onto a Daz character.

It works great except for one frame where the ik solver seems to be flipping a few of spine bones which are twisting in the animation.



Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

It's hard to say without looking at the actual file. It might be the way the mapping is done, leading to over constraining or some other solver issue. As a first cut, try turning on Root Constraint and picking something suitable. But I'm not sure that would fix it in this case.

Thanks for replying.

It turned out it was a stupid mistake on my part. I had some weighting applied to the feet on the IK solve, left over from a different animation. Turning that off fixed the problem.
