Triangle mesh rendering

I have been following the tutorials so far from the site and they have been of great help! As the tutorials show, the meshes are mostly if not all as quad meshes. I'm trying to make some OBJs for exporting to my own game engine, but when I convert a geometry to a tristrip node it doesn't render with the standard mantra. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Yeah, they have fixed it recently only for 9.1 (which is as of yet unavailable) I believe.
