hmmm it should, but I think nobody tested it on HD yet . It might be limited to the output res thou, at least such a limitation is on non-comercial.

Where can one download the plugin for Houdini? I couldn't find it on the page where you can download the demo version for maxwell 1.6.

You can find maxwell demo in the download section on
http://www.maxwellrender.com/ [maxwellrender.com]

To download the plugin you need to contact the author, have a look the recent update of the toolkit at the exchange.
