Hi,
I know this is a very big question… I know there are nice help files…
I just would like to know the workflow? any special mantra settings?
…any geometry exports?

Because I could not see the actual fluids in the final render when I tried to render one of the help examples.

Thanks.

Which help example are you working on?
“gravity is not a force, it is a boundary layer”
“everything is coincident”
“Love; the state of suspended anticipation.”

Hi!
Thanks for replying…

it is the “ball in tank” example… loaded through the FluidSolver help…

maybe it is a shader problem?…

Only the particle fluids seem to be rendering in those example files

So you had the same problem?
Not being able to render the fluid in the “object dropping into a fluid” example?

That example is not setup to render, it is just to show a dops example.

There's no light or camera, so you'll have to add those.

The most import thing is to get the fluid information out to a geometry node.

I'd dive into the main node and in there create a new Geometry object.
Inside that call in a DopImport sop.
Make the parameter changes you can see in the attached image.
Then add a Delete sop to delete the fluid bounding box. (2nd image)

I usually have the list view open next to the network view so I can see the nodes and drag the paths that I need. (3rd image)

Thank you very much…
I will try this. Sorry for the late reply… had to deal with some other things…

Thanks for the help,

Just a quick question:
How we controll the character of the tank fluid? For example, if we want to create bigger splashes etc.

Thanks.

EDIT: I mean, the viscosity is at 0… and it setill looks like MUD…

Allegro
try adjusting the gas pressure constant on the solver

Where exactly is this option? I cannot find it in the fluid solver node. ops:

My bad, I was thinking of Particle Fluids.
