looks quite Houdini like…I will download a demo asap.
However, I doubt that I would ever get used to this bubble button GUI. They could at least make the user chose between a flat and teh standard GUI.
What I really like in XSI personalization is that you can run it in MAYA mode.
This helps a lot when using Maya and XSI in the same pipeline. I regret that Houdini didin't go the QWERT and Alt ViewControl way. I use both apps, Maya and Houdini, so I'm always struggling when using the other app after a while…

I'm not particularly happy with the development of Maya since it was bought by Autodesk, so I was considering to switch over to XSI for modeling and Mental Ray rendering.
however I'm curious to get the trail of teh latest release…

oh, danke… wie schoen dass es mehrere (deutschsprechende) Leute gibt die Houdini nutzen

I like the Houdini Interface, because it fit well into MacOS
Normally I wouldn't test XSI, but the ModTool looked nice to create something for a game… but never found much time to use a PC :twisted:

with Houdini you can export to the Torque engine, when you wnat to use it for game content creation
