I wonder if someone has any knowledge on this (before I attempt reinstalling Windows, which I'd rather not do). All this happens in Vista 64 SP1, Quadro FX2700M (laptop) card Houdini 9.5.351
Suddenly Houdini is crashing (Segmentation fault) when I press Tab in the Network pane or the viewport. It's obvious there is some conflict with something, but I can't identify what is the cause.
The system worked perfectly before. I can't exactly identify what I installed before this began to happen. Maybe the Wacom driver (which I uninstalled when trying to find the cause).
I did delete my /houdini9.5 folder. I also set HOUDINI_OGL_SOFTWARE to 1 to rule out OpenGL issues.
Did anyone experienced this before and knows what can be the cause?
Thanks,
Dragos

I've tried 9.5.352 and it seems to work fine for me, although I'm running 32-bit Houdini on 64-bit Vista. We did submit a change that may have fixed the crash.
Could you please try 9.5.352 and see if that works.
Thanks!

Thank you!
Indeed, Build 344 runs OK. Build 346 and onwards crashes.
 It's a bug.

As an update, we have found the problem and have fixed it. The fix will be available in 9.5. 356 tomorrow.
I'm very sorry for the trouble. We are working on bringing some changes to 9.5 to improve the refresh stability on OS X. While the changes are not intended to affect any other platforms, I made a mistake that affected all platforms. Fortunately, we are almost done the process. I will do my best not to cause any further issues!
