i heard there's a interpolating render method in renderman.
it mean's it can render billions of points .
i need to make ocean foam, but the particle amount is limited,is mantra possiable to interpolate the particles? i mean if i simulate a 100000 points particle,how can mantra render it as 100000*100 points particle?

thank you all!!!!!!!!

Yes that is a very interesting question!

I think the most usual method is to instance a bunch of particles
to each simulated particle. Check “Instancing” and “Delayed Load Archive”
in Houdini documentation. You can also check Hosuk's website at
http://www.hosok2.com/project/dataExpansion_2/dataExpansion_2.html [hosok2.com]

Personally I disliked the “cottonball” look I got out of that method (probably
should've tried harder , and went a different route;
