hey guys.. I'm trying to do a simulation where I'm collapsing a building (trying to make it look seamless). Whats the best way to achieve this effect? I tried the paint method, but the shards come out sharp and since its a building the simulation is pretty slow and crashes a number of times . I have another query, I've modelled the building in maya (including the UV texturing) i've only exported the obj in houdini for the breaking effect. All the lighting / texturing is in maya. How do i retain the textures in houdini while checking the shatter effect?.
