k, anythign i can do to prevent this next time? or is it fixed with the update

and thanks for all the help it worked

and what do you think of the model? anything i could have done better? it's not done yet btw

No problem. The update should have the bug fixed so you shouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

any suggestions on how i should go about making the clouds, and making the f111 go through them and distort them?

hey i really need help, i got a bunch of spheres, copied them to a grid, moutain scatter all that stuff, got the good look i wanted, made smoke from object

i'm having trouble
1) reassigning a texture to make it less smokey and more cloudy
2) making the plane as a pump work
3) remove the temperature so it stays still

i know i'm doing this project prematurly but i need it done by friday

Hi,

Lesson #32 of “Introduction to Mantra” at Digital Tutors (not free, unfortunately) shows how to make the clouds.

SideFX Stingray Model Animation tutorial (http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=950&Itemid=305) [sidefx.com] shows how to use magnets to displace geometry.

Maybe some of this will help.

i did the #32 already, i got the clouds the way i want, i made them smoke, i just need to keep em steady and displace them
