Hello everyone
It might be a common question but I tried to find any answer about it but I could not.
I am a win user and just installed Ubuntu to work with Houdini.
so where I have to download it, because I can not move it to another directory, I have to do some coding to have to the right to move or copy as I know, so I have the latest version ( apprentice ) in the desktop.
can anyone tell me what is the next step, but consider that I do not have any experience with linux.
thanks

Please take a look at the Download and Install FAQ:

Easier than copying and pasting it here

I feel idiot now, so why I thought it will be more complicated than this.
anyway, I have done everything but Houdini did not open, why because I got this error :
/opt/hfs10.0.465/bin/houdini: line 8: /opt/hfs10.0.465/bin/houdini-bin: cannot execute binary file
/opt/hfs10.0.465/bin/houdini: line 8: /opt/hfs10.0.465/bin/houdini-bin: Success
so I think i need help
cheers
