Hello forum,

I have installed the latest version; Houdini 11.0.446.9 (Apprentice),
when the program asked me to install the Free Houdini Apprentice License, I did it and it came up with a message that was successfully installed.
But when ever I run Houdini, repeats the same process.

I tried to do it manually as well but nothing changed.

Today when I started to run Houdini, T got a pop up window “Houdini Console”:
2528: Fatal error: Segmentation Fault

Crash log saved to CUsers/i9089303/AppData/Local/Temp/crashlog_i9089303


and the crash report is:

Do you have any idea what can be?

Same here…except I get it when installing Houdini 11 (installer says Installation complete after the hkey install crashes).

Uninstalling and reinstalling gives the same 4116: Fatal error: Segmentation Fault

tried numerous times to install, everything says it is working when I go to “run” it goes back to installing the license, very frustating, version -9

hello guys,

I manage to fixed the problem with Houdini11 in my pc, I actually I did nothing.
I had an installation in my pc from last night with not valid license key.
Today I moved to the new house, where the router is next to my pc, so I am connected to internet with cable, in the other house I was wireless.
When clicked on the Houdini's icon, it asked me to install the license which I did and then… MAGIC on my the screen ;p

So, something with the wireless to my old house was the problem. I am wondering if other people with the same unsolved problem are wireless as well.
