hi , i just bought a Dell M6500 with :
i7 core
8GB DDR3
quadro FX2800M

after i install the houdini 11, i cannot run the Hmaster or etc other
it will pop out a very fast msgbox like “segment XXX” and then disappear in less than half second.

i found out this “segment XXX” by non stop trying to open the Hmaster. it disappear too fast and i almost even cannot see.

may I know what is the solution please?

Did you install the latest Quadro driver for your system? Do other graphical apps like MPlay startup correctly?

This, had the same issue on my new M4500, simple update of drivers and it works like a charm.

yeah thanks, i download the latest nvidia, not enough, then i think, erm, maybe i will also download the latest Houdini version, so i do it and now it work fines
