Hi!
Please, tell me, what is the MB Styles?

in help:

Motion Blur Style

The type of motion blur. You can choose either a trailing, centered, or leading blur.

But, what`s the differences of this styles?!

It denotes when the motion blur samples are taken.

Assuming $F is your frame and you shutter is 1

Rendered Frame is Centered:
$F-0.5
$F+0.5

Rendered Frame is Trailing:
$F
$F+1

Rendered Frame is Leading:
$F-1
$F

Traditionally ‘trailing’ has been the default in most renderers. But there have been instances where ‘directors’ have found it confusing and prefer centered.

Thank you!
I thought about this.. ops:
I have a problem with render MB in other differents renders.
While I render a reflectible surface with animation and MB, reflection on object is blurred with same object, as if reflection there was a texture. It`s wrong! As if I render MB on micropoligons type of render in mantra.
I discover the differents renders, Vray, MentalRay, PRman, but result is one and wrong
BUT! :!: … but in mantra all fine. I`m set raytracing type of render ang reflection is not blurred!
Are you have an idea, what this???
:?:
sorry for my english, please… ops:

Soooooooo…..just so I have this straight…..

With Trailing motion blur, the motion blur is leading.

With Leading motion blur, the motion blur is trailing.

That right?

Ping….

Anyone vote for changing Trailing to motion blur that trails and Leading to motion blur that leads?

Anyone have any issues with this? Scripts or networks that will bust?

I vote for change.

Motion Blur Ahead and Behind?

Or Offset, where Zero is Centred, positive value is in front and negative value is behind?
