I have an obj based on sop animation, and need half of it to act like cloth
how to go for this?
tried to work with the group sop and the constraint node in the Dop network but it didnt work. Any suggestions would be great!

you can create float attribute named “pintoanimation” and set it to 0 for cloth parts and 1 for hand animated parts
cloth solver will do the rest
(note that intermediate values like 0.2 are rounded so the point can be either pinned or not, no blending can be acheived this way)
but SPD pin constraint should work too if you specify correct group
