Hello again,
I have found my problem, but i don't understand why this happens?
I found that the problem exists until i change one default value in the "Hair Generate" Node.
Under the "render" tab, "hair Generation" appears by default on the "Generate geometry in mantra" setting.
When i change it to "Use SOP geometry", mantra renders the hair without problems.
I hope this can help someone.

Hello,
I have Indie 19.5 thru steam, and everytime i try to render hair or fur with mantra, i get " Error: Unable to save geometry for: /obj/myObject_hairgen/RENDER "

Is there a way to "promote" some parameters of an HDA to UNREAL, so that the user in a game finds a slider or some kind of control that would modify this parameter for "LIVE" interaction, for example; deforming an object along a curve using a bulge SOP, but with the gamer in control of this deformation during the game?

Hello geniuses,
Sorry for the noobness of my question, but what is the correct way of obtaining a good topology for a traced logo?
As soon as i extrude it, it becomes weird looking.
I have tried adding normal node, or facet node, but not with much success.
Could someone point me towards a good step-by-step on how to do this the right way?

Hello Friends,
I am trying to do a simple setup for crowds of wandering characters on my project's landscape... i just need the characters to walk slowly for a few seconds, stand for a few seconds, then restart walking in a different random direction... and so on.
The only other thing i will need after i get the movement and transitions right, is to limit the regions of my landscape the characters can visit to stay within these regions.
For now, all i get is :
- characters in their walking state walk ok accross the terrain.
- characters in their standing state continue slipping forward.
If i change the initial velocity of "1" to "0", i get inverse effect,
- characters in their walking state walk "in-place".
- characters in their standing state look OK.
For this project, i have to stick with version 17.5, but i am sure it's a common issue.

I was wondering if someone had a suggestion for 3D object viewing software for windows that would allow to see compatible objects right from their explorer window...
i remember a tool from long ago called mootools , which still exists , but does not look like it was updated in a long time..
