goldfarbThanks a lot!
add a ‘width’ attribute to your geometry - the render you're seeing is using a default value

Hi everyone! It's me again with another problem..
I've been working on an effect and I don't know where I went wrong in the render settings. I can't manage to get the object's look from the viewport into my mantra render. I'm adding two screenshots below, maybe someone will be able to save my sanity. Thank you! (Viewport view first, followed by mantra render)

Houdini Indie and Apprentice » RBD animated object interactions

Hello! I'm new to Houdini and I've been working on an effect where some sort of weird bird crashes into a wooden beam, destroying the beam. I imported the bird with an alembic node, and in order to get the closest collision shell possible to its shape, I used a VDB from polygon node and exported that. Now, when I call in the VDB export through a static object node, I have all the animations and stuff but I cant find a way to make it interact with the beam. And if I call the VDB in a RBD node, I think I do have interactions but the animation is gone, even though it's set to “deforming object”. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong, and I could use some help…
