i'm still having som problems with the setup, it just wont work!

you're totaly right!
so i'm trying to get this to work, but no luck.
i'm using i tea pot to the field force. i first converting the mesh in to a SDF field. and then in to dops and plug it in to a field force node.

well, you can ease it in to a stop, just have to figure out the right formula :-)
and that pdf is just crazy, thanks a lot, but i'm still pretty confused how i will implement this in dops.
but i understand that you don't want to let out the secret of how you manage to achieve the effect. it's a really good effect, keep the good work up, you inspire me!

so, i've been trying to figure out how to enter and exit “bullet time” or how to achieve a matrix effect were you freeze the time for all simulations but not for the camera.
the best way i can figure out is to work in higher frame rate, and then later in post adjust the playback time.
is there an other or better way ta achieve the effect were time freezes but the camera still moves around?

Two things that i was thinking about:
1.How can i roll up a mesh lite a rolled up carpet? Whats the best way to approach this? The bend node doesn't seem to do a good job.
2. How can i extrude a poly a long a path?

I would like to manipulate the fire with some forces. But i can't get it to work with fire, it works nie and good with smoke though.

if worse comes to worse, you should also be able to manually type tab, and then place down a wind dop manually into your network
yea, i've tried that to, i put down a wind force just after the gravity node, but i didn't get any result. (on a fire simulation, works good for smoke)

i'm also trying to get the wind force to work with fluids. it works perfect with smoke. but i can't get it to work with fire.
do i need to use the Gas External Force DOP for this? if so, how do i connect it in to my auto dopnet?

yes i know, but the problem is i can't the sphere to act in my RBD Fractured simulation.
do this:
use the copy node to copy the sphere to a grid. then turn that into a RBD Fractured object. create a ground plane. the sphere should now act as single non connected spheres, but they don't they act as one big object instead.
although i solved this by exporting my object as fbx instead of .obj.
but i would really like to know why the obj file isn't working.

i reduced my scene to find out the problem, and the problem seems to be obj file. i can't even get that simple ball to act as a RBD Fractured objekt when i copy it to a plane.

i tried that as well, and the same result.
here just a test object i use now when i'm figure out the problem.
i can not use this sphere in a simple RBD Fracture sim.
here's the file obj file remove .hipnc and add (.obj) to it.

my obj file contains some non connected geometry, i want this different pieces to behave as individual objects in my simulation.
i use the RBD Fractured object in my dop, then in my geo node, i first add a connectivity node, declare a variable, the i ad a partion node with the rule set to the connectivity nodes name.
but still, my geo behaves like a snigel obejct.
please help!

I would create some particles, copy some spheres to them, cache them to disk, read them back in, and use these as an rbd fractured object.
This should prove slightly faster than trying to blow something apart with fluids.
do i need to cache out the geometry to be able to get it to work?
right now in the dop i only see one of my 100 spheres. it looks like it ignoring the copied spheres. any ideas?
