I had little success rendering volume/metaball motion blur, beside the i3d motion blur option in image3d gen or post/comp.
Are there any other ways to render motion blur for volume? And, can or how the new Pyro render with motion blur?

I had ported 3delight's architectural shader to VEX, and working fine w/ Mantra's mp renderer.
I try to extend it to be used in PBR. However, the anisotropic implementation in 3delight's shader is the same as mental ray's mia_material, but different than PBR's ashikhmin() model.
Is it possible to write your own bsdf model?

Really helpful. Thank you. Getting some glossy refraction and reflection going. However, really testing out the raytrace speed of mantra. The gather loop is just slow without optimization.

Bump into rayinfo(). What is the equivalent of this function in VEX? rayimport()? If so, what are the labels?
