In Houdini is there a parent operator? I am trying to think in terms of nodes, so I am wondering if Houdini handles parent/child relationship using nodes?

Like

Objects —— Parent Operator
A ———–> .parent
B, C, D, E -> .children

Thanks.

Yes, just connect the geometry nodes or use the Parent shelf tool under Modify

No, parenting in Houdini is just connecting two objects (geo, cameras, lights, nulls, etc) one to another on Object level. You can recreate that relation in a number of other ways (expressions, chops, Fetch/Sticky objects), but the common way of parenting things is wiring them
