Tricky motion question

I have a sphere with a single point on it emitting particles.

I'd like this stream of emitting particles act as a force to drive the motion of the ball.

I'm thinking…perhaps averaging all the particle vectors and somehow apply this to the ball motion. But that would result in endless recursion (?) . Any ideas?

seems like every answer I give these days involves sopsolver and pointclouds…

Still some work to do, but should definitely get you going.

Hi!!

Awesome Peter, the possibilities are endless with the combination of the sop solver and pop contest.

Is possible that you explain more in deep the workflow of that technique?

Thank you very much.

yep, I am planning to make another dvd with some cool stuff as soon as I find some time ->

But if you are curious about some other cool stuff, here you can find some files of other projects and people that I've helped with sopsolver & pointclouds recently:

I believe some of those files are commented a bit more, I did not have much time for this one.
