Cloth Guide/Approach

Hello SESI forum members.

Last time played with the cloth tools was possibly 9.5.

I noticed that Cloth sims were particular slow to calculate and therefore tweak/refine.

Right now, im thinking of applying some clothing to one partiular characer, but not to jump in at the deep end I was thinking something simple like a long flowing robe/toga would be a good start.

Could anyone shed any light on how one should approach this?

Are there ways to prevent calculations on certain parts of the cloth? And is there an upres process/workflow like fluids. And what settings should i pay attention to to conserve as much RAM as possible and therefore the fastest review process.

The only thing i know about cloth is just from the demos and a bit from the car masterclass.
