Hi all.
I have a simple question. (i'm sure - that simple)

Ok. I have Ubuntu 10.04 and Houdini 733. What problem i have:
Step-by-Step guide:

1. create new scene
2. create new Geometry object
3. One click on first “Translate” field. (mean translate x)
4. Start to type some expression like $F * 0.5
5. Stop tying and pres Left Arrow on keyboard

Houdini don't only moving cursor, but also selection mode enabled..

How i can disable this feature?
Thanks

You might have enabled something in your window manager that keeps Shift pressed after you press it once. There is this option (in any operating system) to enable a mode (sticky keys I think) in which you press Shift or Ctrl once to activate it and a second time to de-activate it.

Thanks!

Yes it solved, but.. With strange way:

I used Both Shift combination for switching keyboard layout. If I use other combinations - Alt + Shift - a Houdini input iwork pretty nice.)

Something wrong happening in the system with a button Shift, when I choose to switch keyboard layout with “2 shifts pressed”. The same problem when the window manager - WindowMaker, but there I do not know how to solve.

It does not matter, everything is clear now.
Thank you for your help!
