Dear Houdini masters,

I need help with projecting image sequence using a Light node.
I've found at the Light node -> Spot Light Options -> Projection Map
I can load an image to project through light.

However, it can't load image sequences.
I've tried .png and .tiff sequences.
Please help me if anyone knows how to load image sequence to project through light. (>_<)
I'm trying to recreate a FogScreen in Houdini, like this one -> FogScreen [youtube.com].
Thank you.

Maybe you have another problem for example Texture's address or frame's number !
Check exactly your Texture's path, it's must be same with below example :

$HFS/houdini/pic/butterfly$F.pic

I made a simple projection map project and it worked for me very well !

Check it in attached file

Hello Joker386,

I saw your file and I believe it was the frame no. of the sequence causing problem. It's working now!
Sorry for the bother with such a dumb question…ops:
Thank you so much for your help and time.

Hello, actually, there's another question about Light…

When I do “Look Through Light” and start to move the light around the viewport turns to RED and can't see anything as shown in the attached screenshot image. It goes back to normal view after freezing couple seconds, and it's keep happening again and again.
This happens even when the file is very small, like just a box geo.
Does anyone have idea why this happens and how to stop it?

I'm using the Houdini Apprentice HD on PC with: Win7, Quadro 2000, 16GB RAM
The PC shouldn't be so slow, but in addition to this light issue, rendering time in general is quite slow too. Maybe I need to tweak some settings in Quadro or Houdini, but I'm not sure where to look at…please help me
