Thank you.
That was actually pretty cool, but I want to emit the particles from the grid. The same grid as the chunks get thrown from.
And I want to do it with the new particle system if possible.
Any idea?
Stig
So you can simply define the grid's path (../../grid/grid2) to the “Object Merge SOP” in the geo_pop ! :?

But… an another thing…
Where is the old collide sop? I want these particles to collide with the ground plane but I really cant find the collision sop, or now - the pop.
Stig
It's available in the “POP Network - Old” in the H13 ,Because you don't need to this node in the New Particle System ,Check my attached file from last post

Hi,
Its not necessary because the chunks colide.
But as you can see in the attached projects, the chunks collides with the ground plane, but the particles emitted from the same source totally ignore the ground plane.
Stig
Hey ,“POP Collision Detect” is pretty like to “Collision POP” in the Old Particle System ,So you have to define SOP object for it ,But you defined “Ground Plane” Dynamic object for it !!!
to solve that you have 2 way :
1. create another Grid SOP that using in the “POP Collision Detect”
2. create or Reference Copy from “Ground Plane DOP” from the original AutoDopNetwork in the Particles DOP Network !
Check Attached FIle :

Hi,
One more thing:
What do you need the ground plane in pop (dop) for, when the string used in the pop collision detect is for a sop - “../../../JK_Ground/grid1”?
Shouldnt it be enough to have the pop collision detect string to the grid in sop without having to use the ground plane in dops?
Or make a ground plane in dops and refer to that in the pop collision detect? I see that DOP is an option in the collision target.

I think for general collisions like Ground collision, it is better to use ground plane DOP ,I think the processing for this way is faster than second way (create a grid SOP and make it as Static Object)
Also the Ground plane has infinity size on all direction ,So I think the better way is to use ground Plane :?
