Modeling and texturing for games

Hi

I have been trying to learn Houdini for what seems a very long time, i believe things are starting to come together now in terms of seeing a flow of data am Im really liking the possibilities!

I am trying to make a classic game asset, a barrel. I have a model that im fairly happy with for the moment but im struggling hard at uving it in any way that feel is adequate.

If anyone has time to look at the file and help me out on how to go about uving it I would be massively appreciative.
To describe the file slightly I have exported the geo and uved it quickly in Modo, then imported it back into Houdini as ref and to show what my target is with an offset of -1 in the U because the Uvs were overlapping an i didnt easily find a way of only showing the selected objects UVs.

anwho any help would be awesome
