Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to reproduce this tutorial https://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2157&Itemid=132 [sidefx.com]

and I encounter something that I can't solve properly. When creating the Spray part of the sim, the new particles emitted don't collide properly with my geometry. A lot of them fly through the geometry while others follow the fluid and collide. I didn't have that problem when I created the body of the fluid sim.

Any advice on where I should look ?

Your file is too heavy to download. Can you compress and re-upload it?

I made quick flipbooks to illustrate the issue.

In the surface video you can see that the fluid doesn't penetrate the geo. In the spray video you see that some particles collide and others just fly through.

Edit: updated with longer spay video (see sprays)

I tried to increase the substeps of the sim, particles still fly through.

Hi there, so I increased the substeps of the sim to 30 thinking it would help. Well it didn't. Have you other ideas I could follow?

I'm really lost.

Alright I finally found where my problem was.

I have a merge that links the popsolver to the staticsolver, the Affector Relationship was set on Left inputs affect Right inputs. Setting it on Mutual solved the problem.
