I'm really new to Houdini and Engine but so far I have to say it's blowing me away how cool it is!
I'm just trying to get my head around the workflow though and maybe someone can give me a helping hand. To simplify it massively down, would you generally do something like this -
- Create a digital asset in Houdini - Import the digital asset into Unity - Use that asset to create a bunch of variations (by baking it out) - Delete it from your scene - Use the prefabs in the baked assets for your unity scenes
I am barely new to houdini too, i begin to learn it around december, i can recomend you the site www.gametutor.com, they do have amazing tutorials about houdini for games.
