Hi,

I'm trying to learn a little about Houdini and so far I've been getting this error. I've tried making a sphere, hit 5 on the keyboard.
And I get the following fatal error, as you can see on my screen shots.

Any advice would be great.

Do you have two graphic adapters active? The Intel and the Radeon? Maby it helps turning Intel of in the bios.

Thanks.

I right clicked and chose update the driver and now it just says:

Hopefully it runs. Hardly know what I'm doing.

I get another fatal error saying I need OpenGL 3.2.

Does anyone know where I get it from?

Even if you get it working the Intel is not going to give you good performance.

Just go out and buy a low end nVidia card. The 730GT I have listed in my signature was only around $80.00. It also will run on a 300W power supply so it is low end machine friendly. Works fine with Houdini on Windows 7 and I even get OpenCL acceleration on certain simulations.

But Intel does have drivers on their site.
Using Houdini Indie 20.0
Windows 11 64GB Ryzen 16 core.
nVidia 3050RTX 8BG RAM.
