I am a cg student currently learning Houdini.
How can I include a illuminance loop in a surface shader?
because I am trying to make a simple translucent shader (doubleSide) in Vex builder. But the illuminance loop never work even I connected the P, N, and angles to the loop.
Any help will be appreciated!

Hey Jim,
Yeah, I'v seen this. Now I'm going thru C# tutorials from Buzz so didn't have time to fight with this now.
Mario Marengo in this http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?/topic/10664-translucent-ticket/page__p__68792&#entry68792 [forums.odforce.net] topic ben so kind and made example shader for me that don't need illuminace.
And mrice in this http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?/topic/10683-fighting-with-illuminanceloop/page__p__68858&#entry68858 [forums.odforce.net] topic helped me to fight with my problem with illuminance.
Anyway, thanks for interest.
