Hello, can vray in Maya use particle or primitive attributes from Houdini ?
I've been trying but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
BTW, I know it can be done in Arnold.

I don't have the vray plugin to try this. However, the Houdini attributes (for particle and mesh) do come in as regular Maya attributes on the shape nodes. So if vray can the usual Maya custom attributes, it should be able to use the attributes that come from Houdini.
For particle attributes, start by checking Maya's “Component Editor” to see if you can see the attributes listed there.
Also, since the Houdini attributes have to map to Maya's attributes, make sure the attribute that you want is actually supported in Maya. For example, Maya's particle attributes only support float and vector. This means if your asset output any other types (e.g. int and string), Maya itself won't be able to accept those attributes.
