how do i copy points from a .dxf ?

how do i copy points from a .dxf ?

I can import it but once imported i want throw away the .dxf and not be

dependent on it eg when saveing a .hip files ect how do i do that please.

i have upload the . dxf file see .zip file

CTRL + LMB on the lock flag
this will save the geometry into the hip file
it will make you hip file bigger on disk - so keep that in mind.

is there a particular reason you don't want to have a reference to a file on disk?
