Two users are having the same crash problems with 8.0.506 and 8.0.474.
They crash while doing mplay's. They get two black mplays. They also crash when they save and close. Sometimes they get the license error, sometimes segmentation fault. Sometimes no error.
They are not working on the same projects. and they are showing up in the license server as having a license checked out. I thought at first when they were getting the license errors that they were losing connectivity but I added them to my sys monitor and they are not going down(at least not before they have to reboot)

I am new to Houdini fixin, so I am not even sure what to look for. I found the .hip files but I am not sure what to look for in there. ARe these the log files?

I typically have a greater chance of getting seg. fault on Mplay when I have 2 or more different sessions of Houdini opened and tried to render to this one mplay. I think this was some socket issues that SESI fixed at a later build… Not sure…

This is on RHLinux (no idea what version) with build 473.
