Another instancing thread

Hello and Merry Christmas,

I am getting a bit confused with instancing workflow, which i'd like to do with copytopoints method.
Whats confusing to me is that most pages say to use a for loop to achieve instance variation which is like very slow. Cant really have any real time feedback any more using it, and seems a pretty bad trade as like my instance transforms works fine without any loop.

I found a method with packed disk primitives changing the unexpandedfilename intrinsic attribute, which is great speed wise, but i'd like to instance live object from houdini in case i want to change something on files on disk, and would like to be able to instance lights or volumes or other objects too, which not sure if possible, with this method.

Any advice how to achieve instance source variation with copytopoints but without a loop?
