Hello everyone!

I'm trying to visualize a 3D sinusoidal noise generated by the Unified Noise-node by the help of Volume Trail. The visualization seems, however, to turn out oddly two dimensional and inaccurate. The fractal aspects of the noise don't seem to show that much, and if I plug for example a Curl Noise-node into the VOP instead of the Unified Noise, the result is much more interesting and three dimensional.

Why do the trails all go in the same general direction when using Unified Noise? Is it something in the nature of the noise, or am I missing something?

Is there perhaps another way of more accurately visualizing these types of noises?

File attached.

Best,
Albin
