Zero Gravity Explosion

Hello I am new here and rather new to Houdini as well, I am working on a space station for a game I am working on. I want to create an explosion animation to use in game. I currently have a model version with separate pieces that I shattered in Houdini and brought back into Maya to combine some parts. The type of explosion I want to create is one where at a certain point (the station core) is where it begins and slowly explodes outward in zero gravity. Does anyone have any suggestions or tutorials that could point me in the right direction?
