Hi all,

I'm having an issue having spare parameters impact my L-System. I have followed the instructions in the Docs here [www.sidefx.com] under ‘Local functions and variables’ and ‘chan(idx)’ however I am unable to get the parameter to impact the system. I want to eventually key frame the parameter so that I can animate a sway to the system.



I have also attached a test scene where I am experiencing the same issue.

Does it behave if you set “spare” to be a vector parameter and replace the X-component with your float value?
