Hey!

I just installed a 1tb 970 Evo Plus on my desktop.

I have Houdini installed on a 512gb 970 Evo Plus, which is my OS drive.

I'd like to give Houdini more cache space to work with, can I tell it to default cache files on that 2nd drive or will that slow things down?

How would I do this?

Does $HIP need to be on the OS drive?

If so, is there a disadvantage to installing Houdini on my 2nd non-OS drive? (Windows 10 here)

Thanks ahead of time.
