Hi everyone,

i am using the not offical supported newsest NVIDIA driver 5xx for upcoming RTX 4090

I notice on two complete different hosts, Windows 10 and Windows 11 with a 2080TI and 2070
that Karma / "OptiX" doesn't work anmore correctly

I got the message:

KarmaXPU: device Type:Optix ID:0 has registered a critical error , so will now stop functioning. Future error messages will be suppressed

And the 2080TI is disabled until reboot, and after that, the first run produce the same error.

Does not matter the scene, testet with several scenes and even without any shaders.

Driver Version 4xx works on both hosts
Driver Version 5xx (since the 4090 support is integrated) it does not work for me anymore

I have no idea if i am the only one with two differen hosts that have this problem,
or if this problem already known

I do not expect a solution, because the driver is maybe total unsupported,
and i do not care, i am hobbist, i do not have "deadlines" - lol

If anybody know this problem already, maybe it would be nice to hint me to a post, so i can follow
And maybe some else has the same problem, we can join together ^^

BTW: I notice that 1 month ago and i try tons of "solutions", but they are all failed ^^
Already test by disabling cards and stuff ...

This is a good point. Maybe i will give a try.
In the past i had always problems with some games and studio,
but meanwhile the games are so old, it could work.

Yesterday i update my 2080TI and 2060 to 2 x 4080.

Karma XPU is working and rocks like hell with 527.37 (including my games) ...

I think it was a driver problem with 2 or 3 previous version.

Anything fine
