Hi,
It appears that the previous frame node is giving the correct model, but the attached vdb node still thinks its receiving the state from 2 frames ago.
When a fresh new vdb node is placed and connected, it shows the correct result.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

It sounds like a caching issue. Try these steps:
Clear Cache: Edit > Clear All Caches
Reset Node: Right-click the VDB node and select Reset to Default
Toggle Caching: Turn caching off and on in the VDB node
Check Frame Range: Ensure the correct frame range for the simulation
If the issue persists, report it to SideFX as a potential bug.
