Hi!
I am trying in different Houdini versions (19.0 and 20.0) to load a camera inside an OBJ network in stage. However, it is not shwoing in the viewport camera list.
Is this the expected behavior?
lopimportcam cameras in an objnetwork in solaris don't show in viewport

I'm confused, what are you trying? There are object cameras and USD cameras, and each is only visible in their respective contexts.
You have a lopimport camera in an objectnetwork in /stage that is importing a usd camera from somewhere, and that camera doesn't show up in the viewport camera list when you are inside of that object network? A camera in an object network won't appear in the viewport menu when viewing a LOP network.

If you go inside an object network inside /stage, the viewport changes to OBJ. Inside that object network (/stage/objectnet/), any camera you create via camera node or bring via lopimportcam (/stage/objectnet/cam1, /stage/objectnet/lopcam1...), won't appear in the viewport camera menu (obj viewport). You can use them in any /geo context, but they won't appear in the viewport camera menu.

Ah yes, I think I remember this limitation. That menu of the sceneviewer only looks in the root of /obj, so can't find any cameras in an objnet. You can still drag and drop to look through a camera in an objnet though. It's true of any context, not just /stage
