Hello,

I would like to ask if someone here might know if there is some kind of sample file / tutorial / anything that might guide me to right direction how to break object using voronoi and pass those pieces as particles so those breaking parts could fly away?

I've attached simple image here so you can see more clearly what I'm looking after.

Yes, my Houdini knowledge is very poor, but I hope with this kind of system what I'm looking after will open my mind so I could understand it better.

Thank you for all!

That's pretty much what the Make Breakable shelf tool does.
Create a box and make it an rbd object, do the same with a sphere, create a ground plane, click Make Breakable and select the box, give the sphere some initial velocity so that it hits the box -> BOOM!

edit: Oh, and I glued the box to the ground for extra flavor

Thanks Eetu.

I downloaded your sample file, but it seems to be rigid body collision without particle interaction?

I was looking something more like building getting sucked in to the sky part by part without any collision, but simply flying away. Maybe my illustration wasn't that clear after all

Anyway, your sample file was very clear and will help me to understand different part of huge Houdini so thanks!
