I cant find the tutorials for the particle training videos. catherineWheelStarter.hip and image3DStarter.hip from the effects training vids seem to missing from the site. If someone can post a link I would appreciate it

Thanks again. I am in the 3D Buzz class, waiting for my projects to be graded for Mod 1. Also, for some reason, the files you posted are crashing Houdini if I try and open them. I am still using the 6.1 release as I am waiting for the 6.5 release that has been fixed of the Windows license problem. If these are from 6.5, then I assume they are not backwards compatible, but other than that, I am not sure what could cause this.

Hmm, I think they're from an older release, like 5.5. But they shouldn't crash if you open them in 6.1. Weird.
