- Colliders are displayed blue
- switch every 8th frame to emit a sphere…otherwise a null, AND only if $F<100
- no point weighing down your sim with high res spheres, freq 3 will do.

in case you really really really want bbox…
(the crucial thing here is in the transform after the bound, MUST disable Delete Transform Attrib)

above the divide, add transform, rotate Y say 45 degs, enable Output Attrib
after devide, add transformbyattribute, by default simply enable invert Transformation.
bbox? ehhh you'll figure it out…

too easy to workaround.
get a dummy nc file, open it, wipe it clean, open your other file, copy everything into nc file, save.
Too easy.
there are billions of nc files floating around…here's one.

oh that's easy…after you've created Spare Input, Gear icon>Edit Param Interface at the bottom
change Name to seed, Label to Seed, Type should be float.

a bit OT…but related…so far, you wanted to select the orig, one, seam…to do whatever you need to with it but just in case you need to select ALL the longitudes of the revolved result:
https://www.sidefx.com/forum/topic/73728/ [www.sidefx.com]
it's the same idea under the hood really.

if all you want to do is select the seam, then that's pretty basic. The uvflatten part, well
I'll leave that up to you.
and it would help if you would just upload the file, i mean..it's a curve and revolve..is there any worry that it contains a billion dollar IP ? it would save me time sitting here mocking up a file.
YES, my time is precious.

well…the holed wall on the left is covered up the unholed wall on the right and vice versa…
or in a parallel universe…you might have extruded the windows OUT…and so you would have noticed the ‘error’.

tbh, I don't know that much but I did a quick test for the hell of it.
results seem consistent to me.
- ray dir is X positive
- so I offset the origin a bit to the right so that the right most column there is nothing to the right of the rays…ie. returns -1 correctly everytime.
I suspect that you got -1 but then your logic of deriving the “point numbers” might be screwed up.
dunno, as said I don't know much, 1st time using this function.
