Everybody out there i'm new to this group and i'm really interested in houdini .But the help i need regarding the downloading thing cause See i live in india and here i mean in village it is difficult to download somthing beyond 2 mb cause net is too slow so i am getting it real hard to download Houdini Apprentice learning package. Therefore pls guys help me u can send me dvd including Houdini Apprentice learning package and different tutorials and manuals if possible some video reference and if u know something many more then include it within that and yes i can't pay an heavy amount so pls make it as resonable as possible. If anybody out there interested to send it pm me i will send him the address. And money, u will receive it the way u wanted. Help me guys. Don't cheat me show some honesty the u people love houdini and want to help a desperate guy. I any other way is there pls suggest.Pls help me.

In my opinion the most reasonable way for you to solve your problem would be to get (or download) some downloader like FlashGet or ReGet or WGet - these are special program that would load and retreive for you anything from the internet. Even if it's slow or if you often loose the connection - these programs will simply continue the download from the last byte you'v receied fro the internet. This is very convinient and this really works.

You know - networks in Russia or Ukrain are not good as well (except for the bigger cities like Moscow and Kiev, I suppose) and I've got some friends, who have a relatively bad modem internet connection and still they manage to get anything they want - including Houdini and tutorials.
