Hi guys,

I'm trying to render a particle explosion with redshift, but the render result is a bit odds. if you look at the render, there are some weird glitches on it and it doesn't move or change along the timeline. I only have two simple lights, dome light and area light, and I have no texture on them. Any idea why it happened and how I can fix it? Many thanks!

Looks like a motion blur problem to me. Disable MB and see if the problem persists. Use a trail sop to recalculate velocity in forward difference to create correct v data.

HiCYTE,

Thanks for your reply. I did try to recalculate velocity and test the motion blur. Turns out it was a problem due to Redshift 3.0.61. Once I update the RS version, it works perfectly!!

Thanks again

Cheers,
